An emerging sunspot made its presence felt with a blast of towering superheated plasma on Oct. 16th, 2015. A nearby sunspot (AR2434) can also be seen flaring. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the solar fireworks display in multiple wavelengths.
